We recently took some of our parishioners to Carfin Grotto as a way of thanking them for their continuous generosity week after week to SSVP.

Everyone had a lovely time, the sun was shining and the good Lord even threw in a wee bit of wind to keep our minds clear and refreshed so we could concentrate and meditate better on Himself and Our Blessed Mother.

We left the peaceful surroundings of the Grotto and headed back home to St. Margaret’s hall where John and Maureen had tables full of sandwiches, sausage rolls and of course an abundance of cakes laid out for us. All in all, we had a wonderful day, perfect location, great company and good food.
